Chocolate-Coated Strawberry Recipe

Yes, I could almost feel your mouth watering with pleasure as your vision is filled with strawberry heaven. Oh the goodness of melted chocolate fondue coating your sweet strawberries. These fresh strawberries are gingerly dipped with the world’s most delicious melted chocolate you could indulge endlessly with. Ingredients:
  • 1 dozen fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup high-quality chocolate, chopped (you can also use chocolate chips)

Directions:

  1. Prepare a baking sheet. Line the sides with aluminum foil ahead of time.
  2. Get your fresh strawberries and wash them until thoroughly clean. Pat them dry. Set aside to dry completely.
  3. Put your chopped chocolates into a medium-sized saucepan and turn over medium heat to melt.  Stir constantly to avoid burning the chocolate. Keep blending and never leave the chocolate while on the stove. Once it starts melting, chocolate will get the consistency of a thick liquid. Remove from heat and cool for about 5 minutes.
  4. Gently prop a strawberry by the stem and dip ¾ of its body into the chocolate fondue, twirl the strawberry to cover every part of the fruit dipped. 
  5. Put the chocolate-dipped strawberry into the prepared baking sheet. Do this with the remaining strawberries.  Make enough space between each strawberry.
  6. Refrigerate the berries from 30 minutes to an hour at most to partially harden the chocolate coating. These candies taste perfect when eaten the same day as they’re made.
  7. Serve immediately and indulge!

How to Bake Strawberry Cake


This is probably the best duo dessert that ever existed in the planet. For fathomable obvious reasons, strawberries have been an ultimate quintessential favorite berry, and to pair up with cake, the most favorable and famed baked dessert of all time. This recipe will surely sweep you off your feet as you gingerly savor the cake’s luscious flavors.  Another thing about this strawberry cake is that it makes you think of the special occasions to when you were young, when cakes of this particular flavor are almost always present. The fresh or frozen strawberries required to this recipe make this cake amazingly tasty and naturally flavorful. Try this strawberry cake recipe and experience cake heaven!


Ingredients:
  •          1 (15 oz) pack frozen strawberries in syrup (thawed and pureed)
  •          1 (18.25 oz) box white cake mix
  •          4 large eggs
  •          1 (3 oz) box of strawberry flavored instant gelatin
  •          ¼ cup water
  •          ½ cup vegetable oil

For strawberry cream cheese frosting
  •          1 (10 oz) pack frozen strawberries in syrup (thawed and pureed)
  •          ¼ cup softened butter
  •          ½ teaspoon strawberry extract
  •          1 (8 oz) pack of cream cheese (softened)
  •          7 cups of confectioner’s sugar
  •          Freshly sliced strawberries for garnish


Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350° Fahrenheit. And then lightly grease 2 (9-inch) round cake pans.
  2. Prepare a large mixing bowl, toss in white cake mix and gelatin and stir thoroughly. Then pour your pureed strawberries, large eggs, water, and oil.
  3. Using an electric mixer, whisk the mixture at medium speed until smooth and thick. Pour into prepared greased pans, put into the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until a toothpick or knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Pull both pans off from the oven and let these cool on the cooling rack for more or less 10 minutes. Then, very gingerly remove cakes from pans and let both cool completely on wire racks.
  5. Meanwhile, while the cakes are still cooling, prepare another large bowl for the frosting, whisk in butter and cream cheese at medium speed with an electric mixer until thick and creamy.
  6. Add  in 1/4 cup of the strawberry puree and strawberry extract.  Slowly add the confectioner’s sugar, little by little, all the while mixing until frosting is silky and smooth.
  7. Start spreading the frosting in between layers of the cakes and on top and sides of cake. Top with fresh sliced strawberries, putting each slice as desired.
  8. Serve in individual slices or whole.
  9. Enjoy!


Strawberry Shortcake Recipe


This strawberry shortcake recipe is easy and time-saving. It is deliciously baked with goodness right to its core.

Ingredients:
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 beaten egg
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar

Directions
  1. Prepare your oven and preheat to 350° Fahrenheit or 175° Celsius.
  2. Toss in flour, ¼ cup of sugar, baking powder, and cream of tartar in a large mixing bowl. Cut in butter using a food processor and stir in cream and egg.
  3. Knead the mixture properly in a floured flat surface for a couple of minutes. Mold into half-inch thick dough and cut into squares.
  4. Place on baking sheets with enough distance.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes or until mixture is golden brown.
  6. Meanwhile, prepare the sliced strawberries in a bowl and sprinkle with sugar; toss lightly.
  7. After baking, cool the shortcakes.  When shortcakes are cool, split them and fill with sugared strawberries.

Strawberry Tart Recipe


This is a very famous dessert recipe which is very much in demand especially by your kids. This strawberry tarts are very satisfying and can fill your stomach in a good way.

(For tarts)
Ingredients:
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cold shorteing
  • 6 tablespoons chilled unsalted butter (cubed)
  • 2 cups Pastry Cream
  • ¼ cup cold water
  • 2 pints whole strawberries (hulled and sliced in half)
  • 3 tablespoons shelled pistachios (halved)
  • 1/3 cup apricot jelly

Directions
  1. In a small mixing bowl, mix together sugar, salt, and flour. Freeze for 30 minutes and then blend using a food processor.
  2. Stir in butter and shortening and continue blending process, then mix in cold water gradually. Combine until dough is thick and make sure there aren’t any flour bubbles.
  3. Lightly flour a flat surface and mold dough into a disk; enfold with a plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes or more.
  4. Preheat oven to 375° Fahrenheit.
  5. Prepare 4 tart pans with removable sides (4 ½ inch). Remove dough from the refrigerator and fit properly into tart pans. Never stretch the dough to avoid shrinkage of tarts. Slice excess dough using the rolling pin.
  6. Line the tart shells with a piece of buttered foil, butter side down, and fill with dried beans or rice.  Bake for 10 minutes.
  7. Cool tart shells for a couple of minutes and remove foil and beans. Plant holes all over the shells using a fork and bake once more for 20 minutes or until sides are golden brown. Cool.
  8. You are now ready to fill the shells with pastry cream and top with melted apricot jelly and pistachios.


(For pastry cream)
Ingredients:
  • 5 large egg yolks
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups scalded milk
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Cognac
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream

Directions:
  1. Prepare an electric mixer or food processor with paddle attachment, beat the yolks and sugar for 5 minutes until mixture is thick. Reduce speed and mix in cornstarch.
  2. Gradually add warm milk and process for a couple more minutes.  Pour the mixture into a saucepan and boil over low heat. Continue stirring until mixture thickens and bubbles.  After 7 minutes, switch stirring to beating; whisk constantly for another couple of minutes until custard becomes as thick as pudding.
  3. Add in vanilla extract, butter, cognac, and heavy cream.  Stir thoroughly.
  4. Sift mixture into a large bowl and cover with a plastic wrap. Chill until cold.
  5. Pastry cream is now ready to fill the tart shells.


Strawberry Pancake Recipe

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted melted butter
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries
  • Maple syrup (pure)

Directions:
  1. Combine sugar, flour, salt, and baking powder in a medium-sized mixing bowl; mix thoroughly for even blend of flavors. You can also use a food processor for proper mixing.
  2. Prepare a smaller glass bowl and mix together egg, vanilla, and milk; beat until totally combined.
  3. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry mixture using a food processor. Stir in butter on the process until batter is thick and smooth. Lastly, toss in sliced strawberries and mix for a couple more seconds.
  4. Using a ¼ cup, scoop batter into a heated nonstick griddle one scoop at a time. Fry pancake until sides are deliciously golden and flip to cook the other side. Do the same to the remaining batter.
  5. Serve hot with maple syrup, a bit of butter, and some slices of strawberries.
